Norwood, Where Legends Were Born, Releasing August 2026

Film premieres at MOTORFest in Norwood, Ohio on August 22nd 2026!

We've been gathering footage, researching archives, and interviewing former employees that worked at the historic General Motors Norwood Assembly Plant to tell one of the most important stories in automotive history; the story of Norwood, Where Legends Were Born.

This historic factory is most notable for being the birthplace of the legendary Chevrolet Camaro and the iconic Pontiac Trans Am, but it lead MANY firsts in the history of automotive production.  It was the first assembly plant that GM built from the ground up outside of Michigan, the first to employ robotic welding, the first to produce cars for General Motors 24 hours a day, and in 1972 it lead the longest industrialized strike of any industry at 174 days, pitting the tenacious workforce against a hardened corporation.

The workforce at Norwood helped produce cars that appeared everywhere from Hollywood to Main Street, USA.  Its workers changed an industry.  Its cars changed the world.
